Sasha Grey



Sasha Grey, real name Marina Ann Hantzis, was born on March 14, 1988 in North Highlands, California to a working class family.  Her mother worked for the state of California and her father was a mechanic.  Her ancestry is English, Greek, Irish, and Polish.  Her parents divorced when she was five years old, and she was raised by her mother, who remarried when Marina was 12.

Marina lost her virginity at the age of 16.  She started experimenting with rough sex with her third boyfriend in high school. 

Marina attended four different high schools and didn't like any of them, but she graduated early at the age of 17.  In the fall of 2005, she attended Sacramento City College and took classes in film, dance, and acting.  Her first job was being a cashier at a fast food restaurant.  She worked as a waitress at a steakhouse through March 2006 and saved $7000 for a move to Los Angeles.  Working and going to college full time was very stressful for her, so she watched a lot of porn.  She also read a lot about porn, and did a lot of research on how it is made.  After one semester of college, she left college to pursue her career in porn.
